
Gary Schwebach, PhD, Principal
Dr. Gary Schwebach is responsible for strategy development and client management for G & S Forum. In addition, he oversees new business opportunities for G & S Research.
After serving as a market research and strategy consultant to Eli Lilly and Company, Dr. Schwebach co-founded G & S Research in 1997. In 2005, he spearheaded the development of G & S Forum as a business unit focused on thought leaders in the healthcare industry. His professional expertise lies in the areas of business and marketing strategy and research methodologies, and he has extensive experience in moderating medical meetings.
Dr. Schwebach earned an undergraduate degree in political science/Chinese language from the University of California, Riverside in 1977. He spent seven years as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy and earned a Master degree in public administration from Virginia Tech in 1982. Dr. Schwebach received a Juris Doctorate from University of California, Davis, in 1990, and practiced with the international law firm, Latham & Watkins. He received Master and Doctorate degrees in business administration from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1998, where he taught marketing strategy and market research.

Susanne Bowen, Operations
Ms. Susanne Bowen directs the design, management, and reporting
of G & S Forum medical meetings, which target healthcare industry
thought leaders and KOLs.
Ms. Bowen has more than 23 years of experience in qualitative
and quantitative analysis (domestic and international), including
the gathering, synthesis and interpretation of data culminating
in tactical and strategic recommendations.
Prior to joining G & S Research, Ms. Bowen worked in the
telecommunications, international finance, and consumer packaged-goods
industries—in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. She
has worked in marketing research, planning, and financial analysis
capacities for several companies, the most recent being ACNielsen.
Ms. Bowen earned a Master degree from the American Graduate School
of International Management and a BA from the University of North
Carolina (Chapel Hill).

Mary Ellen Wheeler, Project Management
Ms. Mary Ellen Wheeler is responsible for managing G & S Forum projects with special emphasis on data management and analytics.
She has more than 15 years experience in administrative and client
support. Prior to joining G & S Research in 2001, Ms. Wheeler
provided administrative support to the corporate research team
of Thomson Consumer Electronics. She received a BA in art history
from Herron School of Art & Design in Indianapolis in 2007.
